Zoe Liebeskind has spent her burgeoning law career seeking creative solutions to ensure that her clients are treated fairly and justly by the federal government and local systems claiming to serve the people who need it most.
A recent graduate of the University of California Law School in San Francisco, magna cum laude, Zoe focused her time in school on social justice and correcting inequities. She was an active member of the Human Rights and International Law Organization and served as an editor of the UC Law Journal while attending UC Law.
Upon completing a bachelor’s in Law, Societies and Justice from the University of Washington in Seattle, Zoe worked as a law assistant and paralegal in the city. Many of the clients she served were experiencing homelessness, addiction and disability issues. She would later move to San Francisco to continue her legal work.
In her career before law school, Zoe worked with teams of experts and investigators as well as representatives of the Social Security office to make sure her clients were given the best of care.
After nearly five years working in legal offices working directly with clients, she began attending the UC Law (formerly UC Hastings) to pursue her Juris Doctorate.
As an associate attorney with Merrigan Legal, Zoe advocates for a variety of clients, including those harmed while working for the United States government under the Defense Base Act. Working directly with clients with compassionate care, she informs them of their rights as workers and ensures those rights are protected and honored.
Outside of the law firm, Zoe is an avid runner and hiker, and can often be found anywhere across the Pacific Northwest on an adventure on the trails.
